Kala Patthar

Kala Patthar, another most worthy destination of adventure, is located at an elevation of 5,644.5 meters/18,519 ft. The literal meaning, “Black Rock” came from the shade of the rock which made up its peak. Kala Patthar is located at the south ridge of Mountain Pumori in the Himalayan range above Gorak Shep.
