      Itinerary

      Day 1Arrival in Paro

      • After the scenic flight, arrive Paro
      • Upon arrival, transfer to hotel for acclimatization and enjoy the Bhutanese lunch
      • After lunch, set off for sightseeing in the capital city of Thimpu
      • Visit the Motithnag Takin preserve, home to Bhutan’s national animal, the takin
      • After that, drive up to Buddha viewpoint and observe the Buddha Dordenma statue along with stunning panoramic views of the city
      • Overnight stay at the luxurious hotel in Thimpu

      Day 2Thimpu Tour

      • Start the day with a delicious breakfast and visit the Centenary Farmer’s Market
      • After that, visit the National folk heritage Museum and observe the rural designed three stories home of art, culture, and relics of Bhutan
      • Visit the National Textile Museum and witness the art of weaving  and learn textile design
      • After that visit the National Memorial Chorten, a hemispherically shaped stupa to honor the late King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck
      • Visit the Jungshi Handmade Paper Factory and witness the art of papermaking as the craftsman demonstrate how Deh-sho paper is made out of the bark of the tree
      • Visit the Simtokha Dzong at the outskirt of Thimpu which features beautiful Buddhist paintings and carvings
      • Finally, end the day with the visit to Tashichho Dzong which is the current seat of the King of Bhutan
      • Overnight stay at Thimpu

      Day 3Thimpu to Punakha

      • After tempting breakfast in the morning take a drive to Punakha
      • On the way stop by Dochula pass and witness the 360-degree views of Himalayan Mountains
      • Further drive to reach Punakha Dzong which is one of the most beautiful spots in Bhutan
      • Visit the Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten which is another masterpiece of Bhutanese architecture
      • Visit the convergence of Pho Chu and Mo Chu rivers
      • Overnight stay at Punakha

      Day 4Punakha to Paro

      • Wake up early in the morning and post breakfast, drive towards Paro
      • On the way stop by Dochu-La pass and observe the natural beauty of Bhutan
      • Stop in Thimpu for lunch and drive further to Paro valley
      • After reaching Paro check in to the hotel for delicious dinner and overnight stay

      Day 5Paro - Taktsang Monastery hike

      • Today post breakfast, hike to the magnificent Taktsang Monastery, which was built by Guru Rinpoche(Padmasambhava) after meditation in the caves
      • Stop by the various teahouse and observe the scenic views of the Paro valley
      • Observe the clear view of the monastery on reaching the small Chorten at the top
      • After that, return back to the hotel for overnight stay

      Day 6Departure

      • Today after breakfast you will be transferred to Paro airport as per your flight schedule for onward destination

      Visa Details

      • Permits and Policies
      • All the travelers except for citizens of India Maldives and Bangladesh are required visa to enter into the Bhutan
      • Visas for Bhutan are issued either at Paro airport or Phuentsholing, Gelephu or Samdrup Jongkhar if traveled by road
      • Before travelling to Bhutan, all visitors must obtain VISA clearance from Thimpu which takes minimum of 10 days to process and without it air tickets to Bhutan cannot be purchased in any way
      • Entry fee of the Bhutan can be made upon the payment of $40 while procedure of stamping a visa into the passport by immigration authorities
      • All tour payment including a $40 visa fee must be made before the traveler VISA is issued and not once the payment is done its takes not more than 72 hours to be approved
      • Bhutan can be accessed by direct flights from Bangladesh, Nepal, Singapore, Thailand and India. So the international travelers must require any of those countries VISA before transiting to Bhutan.
      • Children below 18 years old are required to submit the VISA application attached to the copy of birth certificate and identity proof.
      • Requirements:
      • Color scans copy of the Passport with minimum of 6 months validity about 30 days prior to the travel date
