      Everest Base Camp Trek via Gokyo Lakes, you can observe the series of beautiful greenish colour lakes in the Gokyo Valley and the famous Cho La Pass, through the Khumbu region in the company of impressive soaring mountains, the Namche Bazaar, the Sagarmatha National Park, Everest Base Camp  and many more. In advancing, the trek will be to the base of the world’s tallest mountain eye-catching  viewpoint like Gokyo Ri, Kala Patthar and also the Khumbu Icefall. This trekking will be a lifetime experience with the amazing sight of Mt. Cho Oyu, Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Nuptse, Amadablam, Pumari and Tengboche Monastery.

      Itinerary

      DAY 1 : KATHMANDU ARRIVAL DAYCapital City

      • Welcoming you at the International Airport, Vehicle Stand by at the airport gate along with a representative from the Company.
      • You shall then directed towards your Hotel along with your belongings.
      • After that, evening welcome dinner with the company representative and short summary & overview about the trek.

      Day 2 : KATHMANDU - SIGHTSEEING & TREK PREPARATIONHalf Day City Tour & Trek Preparation

      • After Breakfast
      • Visit to Pashupatinath, Kathmandu Darbar Square & Shoyambhu Monkey Temple on private Vehicle (Half Day City Tour)
      • At noon, shopping for additional material required for the trekking, our guide shall help you to find the best trekking gear shop and any other facility.
      • Overnight at Hotel

      Day 3 : KATHMANDU TO LUKLA FLIGHT AND PHAKDINGAltitude : 2,800m \ 9184ft (Lukla) & 2,652m \ 8,698ft (Phakding)

      • Flight to Lukla, then Introduction to your guide and porter.
      • Relax yourself with an easy walk around Chaurikharka village and descent towards Dudhkoshi Ghat.
      • Trail follows the bank of the Dudhkoshi River until Phakding where we ‘ll be staying overnight.

      Day 04 : PHAKDING TO NAMCHE BAZARAltitude : 3,440m \ 11,283ft

      • Breakfast in Phakding before the trek to Namche Bazar.
      • Reach to the Dhudkoshi River via a long suspension bridge about 2 hrs away.
      • Sooner, we’ll reach the entrance to Sagarmatha National park and then descend to Dhudkoshi River where lunch will be served.
      • A tough climb up the hill to our resting place, but you’ll be rewarded in Namche Bazar with your first look of Everest in its majesty.

      Day 05 : NAMCHE BAZAAR-REST AND ACCLIMATIZATION DAYAltitude : 3,440m \ 11,283ft

      • At this point, we will be spent resting allowing our bodies to become relax to the lofty altitude.
      • There’s an optional 2hr hike to Everest view point which will help to speed relaxation.
      • On Saturdays, the Hatt Bazar(which is the part of the larger Namche Bazar) is open for trading and an intimate look at the locals marketplace.

       

      Day 06 : NAMCHE BAZAAR TO TENGBOCHEAltitude : 3,870m\\12,684ft(Tengboche)

      1. Breakfast will be served in Namche Bazar.
      2. Some breathtaking views of the himalayas –Everest,Nuptsu,Kwangde,Lhotse,Ama Dablam and Thamserku.
      3. Our destination,Tengboche(one of the most beautiful places in the Everest region) include the view of Ama Dablam.
      4. We’ll stop in on the Tengboche monastery where you can nourish your spirit with a guided tour of its grounds.

      Day 07 : TENGBOCHE TO DINGBOCHEAltitude : 4,400m\14,435ft(Dingboche)

      1. Today’s trek will be through the rhododendron forest to Deboche followed by a bridge over the raging Imja Khol River.
      2. We’ll pass the valley wall and then cross the plains to Pangboche village.
      3. Enjoy a great oppurtunity to observe a typical Sherpa village and have lunch with locals!
      4. Our afternoon trek will be a difficult one, as the landscape gives way to dry,deserted mountains and we hike towards Dingboche.

       

      Day 08 : DINGBOCHE REST AND ACCLIMATIZATION DAYAltitude : 4,400m\14,435ft (Dingboche)

      1. Chance to rest up before the last leg of our adventure!
      2. Savor a full day of exploring Dingboche and the surrounding valleys of Chhukung and Imja,(end of which links with Island Peak ),the high passes of Amphu Laptse,and Makalu Barun National Park.
      3. Taking a easy optional trek will pay off in rewarding views .
      4. You ‘ll need your rest for the the second last of ascent tomorrow.

      Day 09 : DINGBOCHE TO LOBUCHEAltitude : 4,900m\16,076ft(Lobuche)

      1. Due to the higher altitude, the trek ‘ll move more gradually be more challenging.
      2. We’ll pass Dungla, but not before a tough,steep walk to the top of a high hill, where u ‘ll see the memorial stupa dedicated to the climbers and trekkers who lost their lives to Everest.
      3. Next part of the adventure brings over rocky mountain terrain to Lobuche(where some amazing views i.e Mt.Lobuche, Mt.Pumari and Mt.Nuptse can be seen ).
      4. Prepare to snuggle up for a cold night as we are almost three miles above sea level and the evenings can be downright chilly!

      Day 10: LOBUCHE TO GOREKSHEP AND EVEREST BASE CAMP, EBC TO GORKESHEP Altitude : 5,180m\16,994ft(Gorekshep) & 5,364m\17,598(EBC)

      1. Kind of easy trek from Lobuche to Gorkeshep.
      2. Straight trail to Everest Base Camp is harder,involving rocky dunes and moraine, formed accumulation of unconsolidated glacial debris.
      3. At the Base Camp, our goal, you’ll have the chance to meet climbers attempting to scale the mountain’s summit and where u can click unbelieveable views of breathtaking beauty.
      4. After a grueling and busy day,we’ll head back to Gorekshep for some much-needed rest and relaxation.

      Day 11 : GORKESHEP TO KALAPATHAR TO DZONGLAAlititude : Kalapathar (5,545m\18,192ft), Dzonga( 4,840m\15,879ft)

      1. Today, we’ll wake before dawn to trek towards Kalapathar (which is “black rock”) for a fiery, glorious sunrise over Mt.Everest.
      2. Day’s first light will illimunate your spectacular view of Nuptsu Nup, Changtse and Lhotse where ur most opportune moment to snap amazing pictures of Everest and other peaks.
      3. Then, it’s back to Gorkeshep for breakfast and onwards to Dzongla.

       

      Day 12 : DZONGLA TO CHO LA TO THAKNAK Altitude : Cho La( 5,364m\17598ft), Thaknak( 4,358m\14,298ft)

      1. The most challenging day of the trek as u go over the pass because of the weather.
      2. Having already visited Everest Base Camp can be helpful for trekking at the high altitude and feeling stronger.
      3. Crampons r not normally used but microspikes can helpful if the weather is at all bad but its tough climb to the top but amazing views can be seen.

      Day 13 : THAKNAK TO GOKYOAltitude : Gokyo 4,750m\15,584ft

      1. Continue down into the Gokyo valley and cross the Ngozumpa glacier the longer glacier in this part if the Himalayas and an impressive sight.
      2. We should reach gokyo by lunch then you should have time to walk up to one of the lakes in the valley where u can see great views of the peaks.

       

      Day 14 : GOKYO RI TO MACHERMO Altitude : Gokyo Ri (5,357m)

      1. We ‘ll take an early morning hike up to the summit of Gokyo Ri at 5357m where might be better views than the KalaPathar.
      2. Infront of you , there’ll be 4 \14 tallest peaks in the world, namely, Everest, Lhotse, Makalu and Cho oyu where u can also see largest glaciers in the Himalays below u.
      3. head back to the tea house for breakfast and to start our trek down the Gokyo valley to Machermo where we ‘ll spend the night.

       

      Day 15 : MACHERMO TO NAMCHEAltitude: 3,440m\11,283 ft (Namche)

      1. Today is a relatively long hike but it’s a good trail and all downhill but the lower elevation makes things easier.
      2. Before u intersect back with the main route upto Everest Base Camp and head back to Namche , there’ll be going down the Gokyo Valley with some good views of the peaks.
      3. Overnight in Namche Bazaar

       

      Day 16 : NAMCHE TO PHAKDING AND LUKLA Altitude: 2,800m\9,184ft

      1. After breakfast, we trek towards the Hillary Suspension Bridge and then pass through several local villages.
      2. Our arrival in Lukla brings an evening in our last Tea House and traditionally, a party ‘ll ne done for achieving your destination with the trekking crew.
      3. Last night on the mountain, which can be bittersweet.

      Day 17 : LUKLA TO KATHMANDUAltitude: 1,350m\4,428ft

      1. In the morning, you’ll hope a brief flight from Lukla to Kathmandu, where your journey began and end.
      2. Transfer to your hotel upon landing for some much-needed solo rest and reflection after trek conquering the Himalays.
      3. Reunite in the evening for a farewell dinner at one of the best Nepalese restaurants in town.

      Day 18 : KATHMANDU –DEPARTURE DAYAltitude : 1,350m\4,428ft

      1. Last day in Nepal! Grab some breakfast and then take in some last-minute shopping in KTM.
      2. Make sure you’ll arrive at Kathmandu International Airport with plenty of time.
      3. At last we’ll say goodbyes and bid u farewell with gorgeous photos to show your love ones.
