Koshi Tappu wildlife reserve Safari is one of the best ways to observe and explore the abundance of wildlife in the Terai region of Nepal. The wildlife reserve is home to 350 species of birds and several other wild beasts among which water buffalo are the highlight to watch here. The reserve center covers an area of 175 sq.km and is named after the biggest river of Nepal the Koshi. The river flowing within the reserve is home to rare Gangetic Dolphins and a hot spot for observing rare Fishing Cat and wild Buffaloes along with Gharials and other several reptiles.
